At night, the Milky Way overhead seems to point the way,
so the route acquired the nickname „La voie lactée“ – the Milky Way.

Inspired by the Luis Buñuel film of the same name, I have long been fascinated with a journey to Santiago de Compostela. During the summer of 2012 we began the 7,000Km trip from Vienna along the St. James Way, also known as the Camino de Santiago trail. The station photographs from this series capture a very personal pilgrimage.
